13:00 – 18:00 : DJ STÉFANE LIPPÉ

Stéfane Lippé

The day Stéfane Lippé placed his first vinyl on the Sky Pub turntables, a new chapter began in the long history of Quebec’s love for house music. Born with a complete instinctual understanding of the musical spectrum, Stéfane Lippé was destined for the road to success, far from his humble beginnings at Thérèse-Martin High School in Joliette, Quebec. Inspired by the likes of Frankie Knuckles, Deep Dish, Stephan Grondin, Derrick Carter, and Mark Anthony, he has become one of the top figures in the Montréal nightlife scene since the beginning of the millennium, quickly becoming one of the most respected DJs of the city, province, and country.

His hard work had lead Stéfane Lippé to become a resident DJ at numerous clubs in Montréal, such as Sky, Sisters (Church Sundays), Stereo Nightclub, Club Opera, Cabaret Mado, and Circus Afterhours. Furthermore, he has worked at such prestigious international clubs as Élysée Montmartre (Paris), Fly (Toronto), Klub (Nice), Gorg-O-Mish (Vancouver), Terminal (Québec), Red Light (Paris), Sunrise (Ottawa), Spartacus (Marseille), and Kingdom (Cologne), as well as major events for BBCM, Divers/Cité, and many other organizations.

Mark Anthony18:00 – 23:00 : DJ MARK ANTHONY

For over 20 years now, Mark Anthony has been serving up his signature textured house beats, blending shake-it percussion, savvy special effects and a heaping helping of pure love. His spot-on eye for the hottest emerging sounds helped pioneer Montréal’s now world-famous house scene from the outset. True to himself and his vision, Mark has been instrumental in making house music and clubbing a unique experience, an art form, a means of expression. He may be recognized globally as a master of the turntables, but Mark’s career has also included turns as an accomplished music and event producer, always striving to breathe new life into nightlife.

Mark AnthonyWhen he’s not rocking the house at a long list of clubs and special events at home in Montreal, across Canada and abroad, Mark is always focused on making music, be it original songs, remixes, or producing artists in a variety of genres. He continues to wax prophetic at his monthly residency at Montréal's Unity and weekly at Red Lite, the largest after-hours venue in the Montréal area. The collaboration yielded the first Red Lite Series CD compilation, which soon became a top seller. Mark stepped up to man the decks again at the 2007 Black & Blue Festival main event, which brought circuit enthusiasts to their knees.

He is also set to co-launch the Web-based music label Dark Panties Recordings, which will showcase a full range of talent in a wide variety of musical genres, with the same kind of effervescence Mark puts into everything he does. www.markanthonymusic.com / www.myspace.com/markanthonymusic.
