A New Visual Identity for Montréal Pride
Montréal Pride launches its new logo and new visual identity for the first edition of the nation-wide Canada Pride Montréal 2017 celebration.
The new logo pays homage to our city: the heart shape represents the ‘’Love is love’’ concept that has become widespread around the world. This new signature also highlights the #FierteMTL hash tag.
The new visual identity for the 2017 edition will feature Montréal’s iconic landmarks, such as the winged monument to George-Étienne Cartier, which sits at the base of Mount-Royal, with its outstretched wings donning the colours of the Rainbow flag. The spread wings symbolize hope, the protection and the openness towards the LGBTQ communities both here and around the world.
Many buildings in Montréal will proudly display the rainbow colours!
