In a staging by Rita Lafontaine, the characters in Jean-Marc and Luc will be back on stage 30 years after the creation of Les Anciennes odeurs during the fifth Montréal Pride Celebrations. Francis Bourgea and David Marcel are Jean-Marc and Luc, two former lovers that grief brings back together during a surprise visit of Jean-Marc, which quickly turns into a series of confessions, admissions and where old wounds resurface.

Never played in Montréal since is creation, Rita Lafontaine wanted to share this strong text. Under her leadership, Les Anciennes odeurs, becomes a sensual play where past passions tinged those of today and where death is never far away. The whole team, strengthened by the reception of La Duchesse de Langeais, 2010, is back in action in the intimate Studio-Théâtre at Place des Arts.
