This season, Village Scene Productions celebrates their tenth(10th) year of producing original queer themed bilingual theatre. They’re putting all of their “balls into one towel” with their latest project, a Canadian – Quebecois cast (the Bathhouse-BoYces) touring production, to be presented in both French, Bain-Sauna: le musical! and in English, Bathhouse: The Musical!

Village Scene Productions presents…

BATHHOUSE: The Musical!

The Canadian cast touring production in English and in French – Montreal, summer 2012.

Bathhouse: The Musical! Everything you ever wanted to know about the bathhouse BoYces but were afraid to ask … Come out and see what goes on behind those doors. This rib-tickling, ass-slapping, toe-tapping all male burlesque musical high camp comedy promises to be a rousing, carousing, musical montage with plenty of scantily clad men!

Join Billy, along with the your favorite bathhouse icons Maurice, David, and Teddy, and the other bathhouse patrons, as he visits his friendly neighbourhood bathhouse for the first time. He’s looking for love!!!… but soon realizes that the other patrons are looking for something else, something a little more temporary!

The Play contains adult themes and is for mature audiences with a high tolerance of being offended. The one thing ‘catchy’ is the ‘tunes’, featuring songs like: ‘Friendly Neighborhood Bathhouse’, ‘Bathhouse ABCs’, ‘The Steam Room’, ‘Clicking For Dick’, ‘The Workout’, ‘In The Shower’, ‘The Seduction Tango’, and ‘Hottie Revival’. See you at the baths!
