Montréal Pride

Celebrating the rich and troubled LGBTA history, Montréal Pride is preparing another exciting and colourful program that will underscore the energy and pride of the vibrant Montréal LGBTA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual, Transgender, Transvestite and Allies) community.

Under the general theme, “Share the Pride”, one of the major highlights is the traditional Pride Parade.

The Parade is held on René-Lévesque Boulevard West, from Guy to Sanguinet streets, right in the heart of downtown Montréal.

Community Day, one other key event, is held again this year all along Sainte-Catherine Street between Saint-Hubert and Papineau streets. Visitors will be able to discover a wide variety of booths and the diversity of a unique community.

Many shows and activities will take place during the 5-day event at Place Émilie-Gamelin. In addition to a conference, a major t-dance, parties and a play in different other venues.
